Cattle Semen Collection

This facility is based at Rukuhia, near Hamilton, has been operating since the 1970s. Approx 200,000 straws of frozen bull semen are produced annually for a variety of private clients including one of the shareholders, Liberty Genetics Ltd. The centre accommodates over 60 bulls and is approved for export collections for most importing countries.
